Red Hat: Summit 2023 Opener
Every year, Red Hat brings the open-source world together in Boston to unveil what’s next. Summit dives into everything from RHEL and OpenShift to automation, cloud services, and AI/ML.
At BIEN, we framed these ideas as a superhero universe—bold, graphic, and built to make complex tech instantly feel powerful and approachable. The animation opened the event on the main stage, setting the tone before the core speakers took over, so timing and flow had to be spot-on.
The result? A high-impact opener that wowed the crowd and kicked off Summit with serious momentum.
My role: 3D designer, animator, and project anchor—bringing the visuals together and delivering the final animation for the opener.
I created background and camera animation in Cinema 4D contributing to environments that felt engaging.
I worked closely with the cel animators, integrating characters into the environments to create the illusion that they’re actively manipulating the 3D elements.
